ABOUT
nanoTrack: Relay is an application-specific nanosat constellation optimised to operate on Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO).
When it comes to M2M/IoT over Satellite, smaller companies face one big challenge for their business – choosing between affordable yet unreliable and not real-time satellite inter connectivity or real-time but expensive connectivity through devices that bring significant limitations.
nanoTrack: Relay will solve the dilemma by a dramatic reduction of cost per byte for M2M connectivity and, at the same time, reducing the latency to a notable minimum by transforming the connection from record-and-send to real-time.
WHAT MORE
We also work on the terrestrial segment of Sat M2M network by developing a structural health monitoring network (TensiHub).
VALUE
The primary competitive advantage of nanoTrack is a dramatic reduction of cost per byte for M2M connectivity and, at the same time, reducing the latency to a notable minimum by transforming the connection from record-and-send to real-time. The advantage results from using the existing and verified technologies and resources. In this way, we reduce the need to build new terrestrial infrastructures which is a crucial benefit for small companies.
M2M Satellite Communication market size was valued at 5.36 Billion USD in 2019 and will reach 12.56 Billion USD by 2027. The key players are ORBCOMM, Inmarsat, Iridium, and New Space startups like Swarm (acquired by SpaceX).
TARGET
The target customers of nanoTrack will be existing Internet service providers and new entrants seeking to expand their networks beyond terrestrial coverage. They will buy nano track as it allows them to do this and increase their service offering without significantly increasing their infrastructure costs.
